Critical Insights AI™ (CI AI) is Eventide Communications® cloud-native platform for recording, analyzing, and optimizing every mission-critical interaction – voice, radio, video, text, and data.
Built as an extension of the NexLog DX ecosystem, CI AI transforms captured content into real-time operational intelligence through automated evaluations and QA/QI programs, transcriptions, audio redaction, advanced analytics, and assistive call handling.
CI AI supports the full lifecycle of emergency communications – from hiring and onboarding to compliance monitoring, live alerting, training reinforcement, and performance evaluations. Agencies gain faster access to the information they need, reduce manual workload and improve decision-making across all departments.
Customer Data Ownership, Access & Interoperability
- Customers retain full ownership of all recordings and associated metadata including how the data is accessed and integrated.
- Authorized, privileged users can export recordings in WAV or MP3 format with complete metadata.
- Archives can be written in near real time to:
- USB or removable media
- Customer-owned NAS storage
- Other approved storage targets
- Export workflows can be configured to support third-party systems and integrations.
- Eventide systems support secure integration with third-party analytics, AI, and operational platforms.
- Eventide continues to invest in native AI capabilities while preserving customer choice and interoperability.
AI Architecture and Data Usage
- Hosted in AWS GovCloud (US), designed for regulated and mission-critical environments.
- Uses FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules.
- AI models are:
- Closed and private
- Secure and fully controlled by Eventide
- Tuned specifically for 911 and mission-critical communications
- Customer data is not used for AI model training by default.
- Agencies must explicitly opt in for any data to be used for AI model training.
- Critical Insights AI is never exposed to public AI models, search engines, or consumer AI platforms.
Security and Compliance
Eventide Critical Insights AI is designed with security as a foundational requirement, not an add-on.
