Eventide Integration to RapidSOS

Solution Summary:

Eventide is proud to be a RapidSOS READY partner.  Our NexLog recording solutions support an optional integration that associates RapidSOS event data with 9-1-1 call recordings.    As of June 2022, our integration to RapidSOS can capture, store and present data from the following RapidSOS data sources:

  • 911 Inform – Connected Building Event Data
  • 911Secure – Dispatchable Location within Enterprise
  • Cove – Home Security Event Data
  • Emergency Health Profile Association – Medical Data & Contacts
  • Farmers Insurance/TrueMotion – Vehicle Crash Data & Location
  • Google – Android Emergency Location Service
  • Kazoo – Caller Data or Caller’s Contact
  • MedicAlert – Health Profile Data
  • Safe Zone – Gunfire Detection Location
  • SiriusXM – Vehicle Crash Data
  • Uber – Driver Safety Event & Location
  • (and more as added by RapidSOS)

The Eventide NexLog DX-Series recording solutions (and original NexLog recorders) support a tight integration of RapidSOS-provided mobile location data with NexLog 9-1-1 call recordings.  The NexLog replay software (MediaWorks DX) can be enabled so that the mobile location data that was supplied by RapidSOS can be viewed after completion of a 9-1-1 call. The result is a map showing the mobile caller’s location progress over time, in synchronization with replay of the call’s 9-1-1 audio.   An example 9-1-1 call from a mobile caller is shown below. The round blue and white icons indicate all of the locations recorded during the mobile call, based on RapidSOS data. During replay, the location icons will be highlighted with green, in synchronization with the audio playing throughout progress of the mobile 9-1-1 call.

In addition, the NexLog replay software (MediaWorks DX) also provides the powerful ability to customize the display of RapidSOS data fields for each call, to suit the needs or preferences of each user or of the entire agency. An example of a custom RapidSOS (“RSOS”) call properties tab in MediaWorks DX software is shown below:
